Wireless surrounds??

I have Monitor 30s now and just moved so considering a wireless solution. In general, do you all suggest staying away from wireless? I would consider them for surrounds and for rear possibly

Thanks all

Wired would definitely be preferred but if you have to go wireless do what you have to do.

Yes, run wires if at all possible because current wireless solutions are of reduced quality and/or run the risk of interference with other devices, including those used by your neighbors. It may work fine, and does for some people, but you may have issues that are out of your control.

If you feel that you MUST use wireless, at least for your surrounds, then the following seems to be a high quality system:

It probably won't work well if you or maybe even your neighbors use 5.8 GHz wireless phones, however. There are alternatives that may suit your circumstances better, and we can discuss those if you'd like, but I'd still recommend finding a way to use wires first.

Assuming that the OP is talking about Polk Audio Monitor 30s as opposed to Harbeth Monitor 30s, the Dynaudio Xeo may be a bit pricey.

I recently had an opportunity to audition (A/B with a few other wired types) these from Aperion...

They surprised me with their ample bass and delightfully coherent (for the price!) presentation.

IMHO, they wouldn't be embarrassed by any wired speakers in their price class.
