Have HDTracks Flacs and want to Demo Them

So, I downloaded the free samples from HDTracks and have been told that it's possible to play them by plugging a flash drive loaded up with music into the USB port on some AVRS.

Does anyone have any experience with this and can direct me in the right direction?

It helps to know what model your avr is.

I'm shopping for one, and knowing which ones have the capability will help narrow down my choices.

Sorry for not clarifying that earlier.

Denons and Yamaha playback natively, however I believe it's no higher than 96/24. Onkyo should have models that do the same.

Shouldn't be a problem since the files I got are 96/24.

Just noticed that plugging the flash drive into the avr doesn't make it play.

What gives??

I have Yamaha rx3010, so I drop the front door to expose my USB connection. Plug in the flash drive/ext hard drive then press USB on my remote. I'm greeted with a menu on screen and choose the file to play. Can't comment on other manf's but it should be similar,

I got it to work on one of your model and on a Marantz. The sound quality for a digital download was very lifelike!
