I might take that fp14k from ya, assuming you throw me a deal on the shipping chuckle Chuckle

Haha. I hear ya. There will be a time for me to make it up to you. Plenty have already shown interest in the clone. Not surprised. I dont want to make a decision I regret.

Keep it! Get another one... And get the FP10KQ!

Options, options... Flexibility... More play toys.

I'll go ahead and step aside from my interest in your clone. Seems to be too much competition..haha

The weekend is here bro! Measuremens done? All systems go?

Didn't get much done this weekend. Did get two baffles cut and driver cutout routed. First time working with baltic birch. Soooo much less messy than MDF and holds screws like crazy.

It ranges in price here in Oregon from 46 per sheet to 68 per sheet. Nice suff. Real light too.
I cant even find it around here, but I will continue to use the Auruco. It is about 45 per sheet and the best that any of the big boxes carry, and still has a SOMEWHAT decent pattern on it should I want to stain. Certainly wont look as good as the oak boxes I have now, but they will be a lot more effective which is obviously more important.

Where in Oregon are you located? I'd love to hear this setup sometime if you're game. I just picked up a couple of very nice void free sheets from lowes for $34 each.

Minor update. heater grates showed up. Nothing fancy. The nice iron victorian decorative ones in 14x20 are close to 300 bucks each. These are metal and can be walked on at least.

Looking good, looking good....

$300? Jesus man!

Having that Ultra staring me in the face is a bit distracting though...

Hey, before you lug all of your XXX's under the crawlspace, is there any chance you could unmount your Ultra to do a side by side comparison? I have yet to see how the LMS stacks up against the XXX from an aesthetic and overall size standpoint.

I know it wouldn't be the easiest task, but that would probably be a picture I would use as my background...

Actually, I was planning on doing that anyway. Stay tuned!

I don't have quite the picture you're looking for but I've got some shots of the LMS and XXX on my photobucket from Warpdrv's GTG a couple years ago. More pics of the XXX than the LMS though as they mounted it during the GTG where the LMS was already put together when we got there:

Lennon... Epic! I actually saw the video from your GTG of the LMS in action on Youtube a few weeks back.

Nice to put a face with all of those names. Wish we had GTG's like that out here in DC.

Not my GTG... I drove ~1000 miles to see those subs in action Figured I'd better take some pictures at least if I'm gonna drive that far

Keager... Make sure that you put 2 or even three layers of gasket foam under the XXX's that are mounted normally. The way that the basket bolts together can sometimes have a 1/16" or so protrusion where the basket arms bolt on to the rim than will not seal well with a single layer. Don't skimp on it. The front has the nice rubber gasket built in that seals like a champ.

Cool. Thanks! Now I'm not sure which one I like better. The XXX seems to have a bit more of a "show" factor, but the ultra looks so potent and all business!

Makes me think of like a Dark Knight vs. Ironman comparison.

Sorry, those gigantic drivers, which ones are they? Any links to the spec? They look huge in your picture.
