Could I run my Ipod through this receiver?

So my dad has an old Modular Comonent Systems MCS 3223 Stereo Receiver with Yamaha speakers (model no NS-6490) that I want to take up with me next year to my apartment. My question is can I run my iPod through this receiver or would I have to buy a new one? It has aux inputs.

Yes if it has aux inputs you can use it. Just buy a line out converter for your ipod or you can use a stereo 1/8 plug to stereo RCA converter. I recommend the line out converter though for best sound.

Great thanks, do you know where I could get one and for about how much? Would Radio Shack or Best Buy carry them?
Links? Thanks

Looks like the line out converters are all pretty expensive. Could I just use this?
