I have a Carver Cinema 5.1's speaker setup. I know it is old, but I really like the speakers. Lately the subwoofer amp which is enclosed in the center channel speaker cabinet will start buzzing really loud in the middle of the night when nothing is on. I contacted a Carver repair shop, and they won't look at it because they don't have any parts. Since the subwoofers (there are two in this system) are still good, is there an alternate way to power these subwoofers?
