159" screen and bigger

160" here, I sit at 17feet which is about 1.4-1.5 x screen width. I'd go bigger if I could but I'd need a new room.

1.5 x screen width isn't that close really, not for 1080p anyway, alot people prefer to sit closer. I bought the biggest screen that would fit in my room and figured if the image was too big I could zoom it down and mask it off, as it turns out I really like it.

There are different ways of doing it I guess. I was basically going to build a timber frame/wall around the screen to the desired size and then cover it in black fabric. The screen hangs closely behind the framing.
