Mounting Flat Panel on staggered brick

If you can anchor a horizontal piece of Unistrut along the top course of brick and third row up from where you show the bottom of the TV, you could then attach a wood framed box shaped to accommodate the offset. Finish the face behind the TV with at least one layer of 3/4" plywood. The wood frame can be attached to the Unistrut with spring nuts and bolts, then covered with drywall or a finish grade of plywood.
A quality articulated mount from Chief or Peerless will give you the flexibility to pull the TV out for cabling and push back against the brick when finished, and give you some adjustment to assure clearing the row of brick that will appear as a lower border for the display, giving it a "built in" look.
Have you thought about how you are getting power and source cabling to the display?
