WAF and near field placement

If this has ever been covered before, please direct me to the thread. My search attempts proved fruitless.

I'm considering near field placement for a pair of LFM-1 Exs as kind of "coffee tables" on each side of my HT seating. Unfortunately, this would put the rear panel (switches, wiring, etc.) in very plain view. Has anyone encountered this problem and came up with an ingenious solution to covering these that looked OK?

Not sure you would want to cover them. Might get them too hot. I would get a 90 degree power plug and a 90 degree RCA adapter for each one. That would make it look a little neater. I do that so I can get the sub closer to the wall. But it also looks cleaner IMO.

If you set Scarlett Johansson near the right front corner of your room, I guaranty that nobody will notice the wires...

Just turn the sub so that the amp is facing the furniture your sitting on. Provide some room for the cabeling so its not bent too hard, and for the amp to disapate any heat.
