Velodyne VX11?

I have a basement home theater with Niles Stagefront IW2550 LCRs

http://www.nilesaudio.com/product.ph...rdcdID=FG01330

How would this Velodyne sub do for my setup? I get the impression that its too small and that this is for a smaller room.

http://www.amazon.com/Velodyne-VX-11...cm_rdp_product

By the way, I am only going to use one sub. I made the mistake of not wiring for a second sub and can't have speaker wire running across the room.

For $200 till 5/21
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...energy%20s10.3
Or if you can wait for it to go down to $299 again-better sub in my opinion:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...ipsch%20rw-12d
Or for $50 more than your buget:

I owned the VX-10, which is pretty similar to the VX-11. I was not impressed and got rid of it a few months later. I agree with tvuong. The Energy S10.3 is a great buy at $199. For only a little bit more than a VX-11, you'd be getting a much better sub. If you can squeeze out $50 more from your budget, get two of them and run dual subs

A guy I work with asked me for a suggestion and I told him about this sub the last time they were on sale. He loves it. The bass is deep and clean for a single 10" driver. At $200 it's pretty much a steal.

The VX 10/11 is only suitable for rooms up to about 2000 cu. ft.

The Newegg link above shows a sale price of $299.00. Is there a special promo code?

Here's the correct link. That other one is actually an "auto link", which the forum puts in for you if recognizes something. They generally point to ebay for some reason - perhaps there's an agreement between AVS and ebay.

Note that you must register at newegg first and then you will be allowed to enter code EMCNEJE246 to get the Energy S10.3 for $199.99 and this particular sale ends on May 21.
