Audio from reciever not syncing with video

Hey Guys,

I have a PS3 in which I use to watch Blurays with, hooked up to my Pioneer Elite VSX-92TXH receiver via HDMI and and video out through the hdmi to the tv. Ive noticed that the audio is not matching up with the video. The Video is happening about 2 frames slower than the audio. Its a small amount but noticable. Is there a way I can fix this?

Does your AVR have lip sync or audio delay in the set up? If so delay the audio by a ms or 2 and retry it until everything lines up. If not you can see if your PS3 has the same options. I do not have a PS3 so not too sure.

Use the optical out on the ps3 to the receiver, worked great for me.

The only problem is Optical cannot handle the full DD HD and DTS MA bitstream so you will only hear the DD and DTS core audio not the HD audio.
