Receiver to Pair with Martin Logans?

Hi!

A while ago I purchased a pair of Martin Logan Motion 10s at a very deep discount. Currently they are hooked up to my old Sony STR-DG800 receiver. I would like to upgrade. While I currently only have those 2 speakers, a surround setup could be possible in the future.

I have about a $400 budget and am willing to do used/refurbished.

I saw a refurbished Harmon Kardon AVR 3600 for sale for only $399. The wattage is lower then my Sony, however.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

Don't concern yourself with wattage as it will not take much to drive your speakers. With your budget you can get a Denon 2112ci for $379 from Accessories4less. It has the xt version of audyssey. You can get an Onkyo TX-NR709 from Accessories4less for $429. Amazon has v671 that's also within your budget.

I purchased five of those Motion 10s at a deep discount as well, and found that even my AVR-391 had more than enough power to drive them. I did upgrade to a used AVR-2310CI for $190 to take advantage of MultEQ, and I'm very happy with it. With the budget you're looking at, you'll find something that will be way more than enough for your pair. I hope you're loving the speakers as much as I am.
