I keep losing my video feed on my tv,I still have sound but no video. Is this a common issue with HDMI. I have a Denon 2112 with a 15 ft HDMI cable. Is there another cable solution I can use,I am still in the process of setting up the system.

A cable that short shouldn't be a problem, so long as it's certified "high speed".

What are you usually watching when you have a dropout?

Cable TV decoder boxes often have problems. Most have digital audio connections in addition to HDMI. The usual workaound is to connect the HDMI cable directly to the TV and use the digital audio connection to connect to the receiver. Alternatively, try to get its firmware upgraded or have it replaced by a better model.

I think I may have a bad hdmi cable.I used a different HDMI cable and it is working fine now.The wall has all the sheet rock down right now ,any suggestions on other wires I should run while I have access.I will be installing stone on the wall so once I close it up I will never have access again,I am going to run 2 inch conduit in the wall for added wires later.
