Samsung 6500W and DirectTV delay.

I have direcTV HR24 and picked up a Samsung HD 6500W.

What is frustrating is I find, if I output the DVR in Dolby Digital, then it takes two seconds for the audio to start up after pausing or skipping forward or rewind. The audio is behind a bit as well compared to the video. If I set the output to PCM instead of Dolby Digital then I don't have this problem.

Is this a problem with the DVR or with the Samsung HT?

This happens whether I connect to the DVR using HDMI or just audio through digital audio.

I tried my Sharp 55 receiver with a different HR24 in the basement and that has no delay. So it is looking like it is a Samsung problem. Shoot, I just bought two of the 6500's, but this delay may make me keep what I have and ebay the Samsungs. Going to try the Samsung with the DVR in the basement to know for sure if is the HT or the DVR that is causing the delay.
