3D HTPC Lossless Audio Passthru Via Hdmi 1.3 receiver

I am setting up an Epson 5010 3d projector but my receiver is NOT 1.4a compliant. I am planning on playing 3d blu-ray isos using a nvidia gpu but I really need some help.

I want to connect the epson directly to the 1.4a hdmi port on the nvidia card, and want to connect another hdmi cable (also using the same graphics card) to the receiver for HD audio passthru. Is this possible? And which nvidia gpu can do this? I know audio can pass thru dvi to hdmi, but not HD audio correct?

I am eyeing the zotac 550 ti because it has dual hdmi ports but I'm not sure if this will work or not. Also my PSU is only 350 watt, so I would prefer a lesser card like a gt 430 or a gt520. Any ideas? Thanks.

people get around 1.3 receivers by using an hdmi splitter

as for DVI I believe dual link DVI ports on video cards support all the HDMI stuff including audio, it might be dependent on the video card but I have read people getting audio out of DVI using a dvi>hdmi cable

According to the reviews I have been reading on monoprice, the 3d HDMI splitters are not compatible with current generation of projectors and the sound output defaults as 2 channel pcm if the other output device(being the projector) doesn't support HD sound. Are there any tried and true splitters out there you can recommend?

Can I just purchase a sound card with HDMI HD passthru or does the sound must passthru the from the original source(being the video card).

Or maybe I'll just go with the zotac 550 ti, it's the only graphics card that has the dual HDMI out, and hopefully it functions like 3d blu-ray players with dual hdmi outs.

You just need to get another HDMI cable one goes to theTV the other to the receiver. Extend your desktop and set up stereoscopic accordingly through your Nvidia control panel.
You can also get a video card with a Display port and use a Display port to HDMI, so don't feel limited to just one card.
