A "traditional" back-lit CCFL model - probably from Samsung....

Give up a bit of "thinness" in exchange for lower price & generally better uniformity than edge-lit.

Go to Best Buy and look at all the TVs turned off. The one that catches your eye turned off is the one you want to buy.
