My ultimate goal here is to downsize a .MOV so I can post this vid to a remote site for a class. To do this, I have to either compress the video to make it smaller, or edit the video to make it shorter, and therefore smaller.
The vid is 1.05 Gb right now, and it has to be under 1.0 Gb...
The biggest issue is that I don't have a Mac, and it looks like this may not be as big of a deal if I did so.
I have found online converters available as freeware, but I just hate to download anything for free and untested! If someone would have a recommendation to arrive at the end result, that would be awesome!
