Here's my setup.UN55D8000 Samsung, Sony Bluray,Samsung HW-E450 soundbar, and AT&T uverse DVR box.
I have DVR and bluray connected directly to tv via HDMI. And I have soundbar connected to tv via optical cable.
Here's my problem, I keep getting audio sync issues with cable playback with the occasional quick audio drops. I have tried to adjust the audio sync on the soundbar with little luck, if I reset the DVR box it seems to help for a bit, but then always reverts back to sync issues. I don't watch a lot of blurays but it seems those are fine, appears to be just from DVR box. My cable are high speed bought from Monoprice.
Someone stated in forums here that it's a AT&T DVR box issue, which box is newest model that just came out, or could it be an issue that box is connected to tv via HDMI but then audio is from tv out to soundbar via optical?
Should I try any other connections before calling AT&T to try a new box? Can anyone help me out on this issue please?
