Odd BA TVee 30 Sound Issue

Have you tried using composite (red/white) cables instead of optical to connect the tv and the soundbar? Might be an issue of what sort of signal the t.v sends and the soundbar can decode (and that might change depending on connection type).

Unrelated to your issue but a question about the unit, since it works. How is the sound output/quality you're getting? I also bought a referb unit (on the 3rd one now) and the bass is whimpy. Maybe I'm expecting more then I should?

the bass is whimpy. It gets better in a corner or in a cabinet. But it won't fill a large room. I think 200 sq feet room is all it will fill.

I am most disappointed by the lack of sound field initially.

But I add a ambiophonic processor........wow...

I am still having problem with poor remote sensing with the front plate on.
