That guy looks like he could play Mr. Hyde who was an enemy of Thor's. In the early Marvel comics, Loki often joined forces with other bad guys to do his bidding. Another real good bad guy from the comics that Loki used and who gave Thor a hard time is "The Absorbing Man" who's name was Crusher Creel a former boxer turned criminal.

Looking forward to this even though he is a "puny god"

Just make sure to let Portman borrow Ms Paltrow's cut off shorts from AVENGERS during the THOR 2 shoot, please.

I hope this one doesn't suck. I was very pleasantly surprised by the first one, especially after the terribly corny trailers lead me to believe there was no hope.

Nice choice going with Mikkelsen. I just hope there is more Thor in this than ... ummm...whatever. And I really hope they don't focus too much on the relationship with Portman's character. Get them both to do some throw away rom-com, for ****'s sake and keep that crap out of this movie. Please. Yes. Thank you.

Can't wait for this, as well as the other related upcoming movies (IM3, CA2, etc.). Marvel is on such a roll right now.

+1

Of course they want to draw in the typical female so therefore there will be romance. But, I'm with you on this. Whenever I watch the Spiderman movies, I always ffwd past the romance parts. They had it in the comics and cartoons and it didn't get in the way but for live action it's a different story for some reason.

Yeah, well I guess it's not happening with Mads Mikkelsen. mad.gif

Marvel - snooze and lose.

Who plays the villain is of no consequence as far as I'm concerned. Marvel has an excellent track record and I will venture to the theater for Thor 2.

Meet you all there!

Perhaps a more solid sequel than Iron Man 2? One can hope....but so far so good it appears. If nothing else, the return of Loki should prove entertaining. And I'll have no issue staring @ both Natalie Portman & Kat Dennings for a while.

Well... I'm all in! That's another great trailer that doesn't give away too much. Loving this trend. Man of Steel managed the same feat.

By the way, love me some Natalie Portman. Dennings ain't too bad either. wink.gif

I'll watch anything with Kat Dennings in it. Especially if there is jumping or running involved.

Looks kinda cool.

Not a fan of Portman. Though obviously pretty, I think she's overrated. I find her bland, unconvincing most of the time - something about her delivery even sucks the life out of parts of this trailer.

Also, I'm wondering how long we will have to endure the "black outs between shots" trend in trailers. It can be damned aggravating after a while.

Yeah, yeah, I know. And while I'm blaspheming: Scarlett Johansson's head is too big.

In proportion to her body? confused.gif

Yep.

And in proportion to her leading men's heads. Once noticed, it can not be unnoticed. Sorry.

Gorgeous woman aside from that :-)
