Great!

I seem to recall reading that both the Canadian and US airings would coincide once they started on the second batch of episodes? Is that still the plan?

S1 ends on March 18 on Syfy. If Syfy airs S2 soon after Canadian transmission, it wouldn't surprise me to see 3 weeks of Continuum repeats (or encores of the previous week's Being Human), then S2 starts on April 15 at 8pm, the same night Syfy premieres their new series Defiance at 9pm.

If that's the case, the US broadcast will probably remain a day behind the Canadian one, since Continuum airs on Sundays on Showcase.

It doesn't bother me at all- gives her character.

My DVR only recorded 3 episodes of the marathon on the 24th. Must have run into conflicts with other shows. frown.gif

2. Fast Times
3. Wasting Time
4. Matter of Time
5. A Test of Time
6. Time's Up

People are desperate for science fiction shows, so they'll take what they can get these days. Continuum is mostly just another crime drama with the addition of a few nifty gadgets now and then and replacing the "serial killer of the week" with a "Liber8 plot of the week" instead, but there are a few glimmers of hope now and then, particularly towards the end of the season, that the series might become more serialised and start spending more time on establishing its mythos. It isn't good enough yet to automatically make it something worth watching repeatedly, but it isn't bad enough to drop, especially if you have room for it on your watching schedule.

I'm desperate enough that I just started Babylon 5.
I'm warming up to this show. The plotline is deeper and more layered than I originally expected and looks like it's going places. The vfx are decent. And Rachel is nice to look at.

B-5 is epic, but it's a long journey. Worthwhile, but it will take a while and not every season is stellar - the first and last in particular.

I loved B-5...one of the best sci-fi series of all time, no question there.
However, some seasons were slower than others.

That's pretty much what I'm feeling from the show. The way I've read others comment on it in the past, I guess I expected something more intriguing and less formulaic. So far, it strikes me as FRINGE-Lite, but I'll give it another episode or two.
I do recommend that you finish the first season before you make a decision, as the second season will be starting soon, and things get more interesting in the last few episodes. I'm hoping that the show will get more intricate and less formulaic in the second season and not just have higher production values (e.g. more explosions), but time will tell. We will probably know whether this show is going to be a long-term success before the second season concludes. If it's just comprised of more dastardly Liber8 plot filler between the season premiere and finale, I'll be disappointed.

None. Really. Just a swipe at baja7475 for saying AVS is over critical about everything because you know they aren't. It's in the TOS. smile.gif
