It was just an opinion on how a lot of people talk about shows are very negative and don't like that much about anything. I usually don't comment about the tv show threads, because most of the people on the threads just complain about stuff that me and everybody I know don't agree. But to each is own.

I'VE GOT ONE WHO CAN SEE

I suspect there those who have a "hidden" dislike of the socio-economic subtext of the series. Syfy signed up for seasons 1 and 2.

I never really gave it that much thought, but that may be why I like it as much as I do.

Enough with the repairs. I want to see her back into that badass tech suit.

Watched my first episode of Continuum last night. Rachel Nichols is hot in that tight little outfit. I approve. Also, it was great seeing the Smoking Man and the guy from 24 back in action.

Monday I'll be 3 episodes behind. Is the show getting any better? I did love watching our feisty heroine in her suit but the plot line had lost my interest 3 episodes ago. At least I watched enough to learn that Canadians absolutely cannot hit anything with a handgun.

Yes, it picks up again... I think they were trying to save the FX money for the last episodes, so the middle few were a bit lacking.

Sure you will. It's a serialized show, for the most part.

That's what it looks like per the Syfy schedule, which is good news for us "veterans" who have been patiently waiting for the next batch of eppys to air. tongue.gif

I'm curious to see what, if any, changes have been made now that Syfy is involved.

Kiera will now start saying, "Fiddlesticks!" when Liber8 gets the best of her.
Things have certainly changed. Kiera has her magic form-fitting suit back (yea!). Carlos has been gut-shot, but I have a feeling it will be one of those miraculous bullets that misses everything critical, kind of like all those annoying shoulder gunshot wounds heroes have to endure on TV shows. But things have really changed for Alec. Lost his stepdad and his stepbro is now a part of the bad-guys gang. One would presume the plan is in motion that will eventually turn him into "cigarette-smoking man". I expect him to start sneaking smokes behind the barn any day now. Kellog (the best actor on the show, IMO) & Kiera look like they're hooking up (lucky duck). And Kagame's "long game" is under way. He mentioned that future history has recorded the events at the farm, as they appear to be on the critical path to eventual corporate plutocracy (funny, I thought we were practically there already).

I've grown to really like this show, and not just because Kiera's suit is back. Will Syfy segue into the next season without a break?

... with a strategically "malfunctioning" zipper, no less.

We know Alec grows up to be "CSM." I'm assuming the step-bro grows up to be "Kigami." Bro vs. SBro while the world burns.

12 Reason to Watch...
http://www.buzzfocus.com/2013/03/12/continuum-syfy-12-reasons-to-watch/

1. Rachel Nichols
She played Scarlett in the first G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, yes that film, and she suffered through being eye candy in several films, like being one of Captain Kirk’s conquests in the Star Trek reboot. The model-turned-actress has really made it work on television, establishing herself as a series regular on Alias and Criminal Minds. In Continuum, Nichols plays a woman out of her time, but also a mother, a wife, a detective and an action star and is believable is all of those sides of that single character. She’s the one calling the shots, navigating the system in the future and present with her experiences and knowledge so she knows when to act and when not to interfere with the present day.

Hasn't he been shot before or something?

Am I the only one who suspects "stepbro" and Kagame are one and the same dude?

It needs to malfunction a little lower. What this shows needs is a little more Nichols cleavage. And I like that theory.

Count me in as three. Seems plausible.

Even better she was a double major, math and economics. Smart woman. I find that wicked hot.
