I've seen all three now and I'm warming up to it. My biggest complaint now is that Rachel Nichols, whose acting shortcomings I'm learning to accept, is very nice to look at but very hard to hear. She speaks very softly and kind of mumbles. Have to turn on CC often just to hear her dialog, usually in action scenes or when there's "Dramatic Music Overlay" (DMO) when she's speaking. Someday they'll invent "Intelligent Closed Captioning" (ICC) where you can select the biggest mumbler in the cast and just get CC whenever they speak. Maybe that's another futuristic gadget Alec will someday invent.
As to the tendency of some actors to mumble, I heard an interview with William H. Macy on "Fresh Air" the other day where he talks about how much he hates that and how unfair it is to the audience, and how he always tries to enunciate his lines clearly, even when he's playing a drunk as he does on his current Showtime series. Dang, I love that guy.
