That's because season 3 is still airing. It has 3 more episodes to go.

Really? Do you have time machine TV that allows you to watch the third season? biggrin.gif

The discussion was about Lost Girl and why season #3 wasn't on Blu-ray.

Got confirmation from other websites that the US blu-ray release is uncensored.
I also learned for some reason the dvd/blu-ray set won't be for sale in Canada until May.

Universal only has U.S. distribution rights.

Well, as far as swear words go- most used in Continuum were pretty mild by today's standards and few and far between. No use of the "F" word, no racial slurs, etc.. so it really isn't a big deal anyway.
When you consider other cable shows like Breaking Bad, Shameless, The Walking Dead, etc... Continuum is like pablum...

Wonder if they would bother with the "S" word if Continuum was on at 10 PM? I lost in interest in "Lost Girl" which is on at that time and Haven may have used the "S" word. And of course Universal = Comcast as Syfy and NBC now = Comcast.

Suits (on USA) aired at 10pm and cursed a lot... but then if you watched an early-morning repeat of it say on Saturday/Sunday morning, they would blank out those curses.

While the cable/SAT-only channels don't have to follow the same OTA broadcast rules... most of the commercial channels do try and follow them since they are competing for those audience's eyes.

Yes, I was very surprised to it. It wasn't even listed on instantwatcher.com at the time!
I caught the listing a couple weeks ago on "Streaming Soon" which recently closed down because Netflix changed license terms for developers. I had my doubts but decided to do search last night and the Netflix page came up. Just to check I played the opening of episode 1 on my Android phone.

Watched season two opener- very good overall. Won't post spoilers... except that:
Rachel Nichols got the mole under her right eye removed during the off-season frown.gif

Last year she supposedly tweeted that she would never remove it.

TRUTH: I have a mole under my right eye. People keep suggesting that I remove it. It's benign. And I like it. So it stays. Always. It is ME.

Good, it was distracting.

Yeah that's the first thing I noticed on the Season 2 premier ( without even reading it here)

I do miss the mole, it was something unique
post #502 of 736
Probably a smart move. Just because a mole is benign doesn't mean it will stay benign. Regardless, it didn't bother me. She's so drop-dead gorgeous it would take more than a measly mole to bother me.

I wonder if it was digitally removed. Sort of like the Rock and his Tattoos.
Season opener answered questions but made many more. Grrr
post #504 of 736
I guess I need to stay away from this thread now until it airs in the US so I can avoid any spoilers.

Same here. I'm not going to seek it out on the interwebs, and don't have access to Canadian cable TV. Just planning on waiting for it to show up on Syfy in June. Plenty of other stuff to watch until then.

REQUEST OF MY CANADIAN BRETHEN:

Please try not to drop spoilers until we dumba$$ Americans get caught up with the new season....

You fellows have seen the thread title right "Continuum ... New Series on Canadian TV "
So we're not supposed to discuss the Canadian show that airs on Canadian Tv in a thread titled "Continuum ... New Series on Canadian TV "... I just wanted to be sure of your request...

^^ This, I dont expet the chatter to stop, if you dont want to be spoiled unsubscribe or dont come in the thread wink.gif Im in the US, but really its unfair to ask not to talk about a show that has in its main thread title Canadian TV....I could see if this was a ScyFy thread THEN there would be a point. Maybe its time to make a seperate thread, one for SyFy and one for Showcase that way everyone can be happy

I got the impression that it was covered with makeup. It looked like she had a lot more caked on her face than she did last season.

I found Alec's message to himself underwhelming. He's an engineer and scientist who ostensibly values precision, so if he was really going to go to the trouble of sending a message back in time to himself, you'd think he would be explicit in giving instructions to his younger self, instead of giving a cryptic, suspenseful warning.

^^^ Well. I guess that settles that. See all ya'll in a couple of months.
