Do you use the 818's Qdeo processing in addition to the Darbee with your 103D? I'm planning to upgrade to the 818 with the 103D and would like to avoid video processing x 2.
Because the Darbee works in such a unique way (looking for stereoscopic depth cues in the source and enhancing contrast when it finds them) you won’t be replicating that in any other video processing that's going on. I agree you don't want to duplicate any processing, but you won't be if you use the Darbee because nothing else does what the Darbee does.
Ooops - now I read your post properly! The 103D already has Darbee processing. In that case, you are absolutely right - you won’t want to 'double Darbee' (although there are people in the Darbee thread who say they do it, for some reason).
I'll leave my initial comment up there as it may have some value to someone, somewhere, at some time, reading the thread :)
