Limit to DVI (to HDMI) cable length?

Hey all,

I need to run an HDMI cable about 40 feet, to an HD66 projector.

I have DVI coming out of my Mac Pro.

What's the best cable setup? I've read DVI can't be longer than 25 feet. Can I just get an adaptor (DVI to HDMI) and pair it with a 50' HDMI cable?

Also - I'm using two active DVI to mini converters to power my 3-monitor setup (2 computer monitors plus the DVI out).

Not sure if that matters.
