Which iMac profile should I calibrate from?

For watching video on the screen & general use.

Should I calibrate:

iMac
Adobe RGB (1998)
Generic RGB Profile
sRGB IEC61966-2.1

If your definition of “calibrate” is to select a colour profile for the display, you should use the default iMac one.

If you are using hardware instrumentation, you should use a software package that creates its own ICC profile for the display.

Yes, I meant the calbration software available in the system preferences.
