Is Arcsoft the only way to automatically switch to 24p?

When I see debates about whether or not 24p is possible, nobody is mentioning how they turn it on.

Do you leave your front end to go into the control panel and change the refresh rate of your video card? Does the Reclock tool allow you to automagically do it in WMC?

I've begun playing with Media Browser and I think it's pretty cool, and I am overall happy with the way it launches the TMT5 plugin. I am just curious if I will have to set it to do that with all my media files when it comes time for a new tv.

If you use MPC-HC with MadVR launched from MB this can be done.

I just found this out last week in this thread. I am suprised it didn't come up based on the title of your thread.

Yup - I have MPC-HC auto switch to 24P when 24P content is played. When I exit MPC-HC it switched back to 60P.

Almost all front ends do this - certainly, both Media Portal and XBMC both have the capability with their in-built players.

WMC doesn't do it because it doesn't recognize that Blu-ray exists.. This is mainly due to licensing constraints.
