same price - loopaddiction was including the shipping cost. this is more than i need in a receiver but for the price, it seems like my best option - just waiting to hear back from denon if there would be any warranty issues with me bringing it home to canada

Just checked the price. Its $628 and $30 for shipping.

Those deals are great guys. I picked up this AVR a week ago at Best Buy. The best I could do is $950 plus tax. I don't want to deal with breakdown and going back and re-set up as I took a lesser AVR back once and speakers twice before settling on the third pair:D
Done with returns but really these posted prices are great.

The AVR itself is sweet! I think those on the fence would be very happy.

Oops just saw the same price confirmed a few times above. Anyway, still $624.83 shipped, if you call and use the code.

EE has been signifigantly changing the before-coupon price of the 3312 the past few days, but the after-coupon price remains at $628

I just bought one from EE last night for $628 + $30 for shipping. I think that's a great deal. I was torn between the 3312 & the 3313 due to the 3313 having 4K pass-through but I don't know when or if 4K will become mainstream. By the time it does, I will have to get a new TV and Blu-Ray ..or whatever format is being used at the time.

UUggghhh!!! I wish I had that money right now! About to build my first HTPC and I know Denon provides a great A/V Receiver... So sad now. lol

I ordered my new 3312ci from EE via their website (using the GRANDSLAM code) on Sunday. Got the $628 + $30 price. The unit shipped yesterday and should be here on Thursday. Can't wait!! smile.gif

Can anyone recommend a good AV Receiver (I realize probably not Denon frown.gif ) that is around $200 - $250? One that would last me a while and I would be satisfied with as I purchase some decent speakers eventually and get my HTPC up and running with lossless audio and HD video? Is that even possible? Thanks!

Guys,

If I have a chance to purchase a Pioneer Elite SC-55 or a Denon 3312ci at virtually the same price which in your opinion would be the better buy?

I have not had chance to hear the performance of the 3312ci at his point but I'm reading many good things. I have test driven the audio on the SC55 and it rocked at all volume levels, didn't get to test video performance.

Thanks!

Look into the Denon 1712. Nice unit, will sound quite good especially after you get good speakers.

As a refurb, the 1712 is $240 from Accessories4Less, a fairly well regarded authorized Denon reseller: http://www.accessories4less.com/make-a-store/item/DENAVR1712/DENON-AVR-1712-7.1-A/V-Surround-Receiver/1.html

Just bought one for $549 including shipping! A month ago I wrote that the 4411 for $1,238 was the bargain of the year. Well it isn't anymore. It doesn't have the better EQ but for $700 less I don't care. This one is for my family room and office in the basement. I should probably sell the 4411 and buy a second one.
This deal won't last very long. Glad I didn't buy the refurbished Onkyo 709 yesterday. wink.gif

That's nuckin futs.

Incredible price!!

wow, glad i've been holding off on the 2312 @ $499. too bad amazon charges tax to WA state though even though i'll have to pay canadian tax when i bring it back across the border. all said and done, it should be just shy of $500 cheaper than if i were to buy locally - and that's the local SALE price.

I tried to get EE to credit me through post-purchase price matching and they have a stupid published policy not to on one-day-deals...

Anyway, if anyone was holding out, now is the time to buy.

I was all set on getting 4311CI, now I don' t know if it is worth the extra $700.

Ok, just went from ecstatic (last week) to cranky, but now to even more ecstatic. I bought the 3312ci from WW Stereo via buy.com 2 weeks ago for $700.

After seeing this, decided to call WW Stereo, who post adjusted the price to match. Awesome!!

Damn. Oh well I am pretty happy with the EE deal of $624. I was actually looking for a cheap receiver as a second to my Pioneer 1120- at these prices the 2 year old Pioneer will make one hell of a cheapie receiver.
