I tried monoprice's 1x8 and 1x16 HDMI splitters to connect a single HDMI source to 8 LCD 1080p monitors with the intention that all monitors display the same image simultaneously.
The problem is that the monitors cannot lock onto the signal and continually cycle between inputs.
The splitters work when connected to a HDMI HDTV so it isn't a problem with the splitters.
Should I try a different brand & model of splitter until I find one that works or is there one that is recommended or is there another option altogether?
