This should be great. Pixar quality, 3D and underwater depth. This is a trifecta.

Cool beans, as they say. Now my fiancee and her daughter will be super happy for Christmas 2012! My super-lazy plan-ahead Christmas shopping plan is working out just fine...

You all know this is coming back to the theaters in 3D first, right? I believe the theater date is Sept 12th.

Featuring pristine high definition picture and sound, the Blu-ray creates an incredible at-home experience with a host of interactive features and bonus features including 3D Virtual Aquariums, 2D Virtual Aquariums, CineExplorer, a Filmmaker Roundtable and more.

Can't wait to stare at the 3D aquarium for hours at a time.

If it's as good as the Lion King and Beauty and the Beast (converted 2D), then it's a day 1 purchase!!

Fundamentally different. The Lion King and BatB are traditional animation shot on film. The 2D film is converted to 3D. Pixar and almost all new animation are CGI (computer created/stored). It is not converted but instead the original file is re-rendered for 3D. So in effect a CGI can be a "true" 3D experience (not converted) even if it wasn't conceived in preproduction. So far all of Pixar's re-rendard 3D's have been very good, but then Pixar has always been about quality. No doubt it will be worthy of a 1st day purchase.

I believe (did it but don't remember verbatim) you just push the button below it and it copies to the clipboard. Then paste on checkout.
