How do you know for sure that what they used in the underwater footage at the titanic wreck was celluloid? I understand this was 97 but perhaps the scientific equipment on the subs at the time was digital. At any rate, the banding is only there for a some of the underwater wreck site footage.

I believe they used techniscope for the underwater footage. It was a rig made specially for the movie. Some of the interiors were shot on video where it was more cramped but that stuff looks pretty shoddy.

Amazon.ca is showing the first one above but instead sent me one without slip and the front of the case is just like the one on Amazon.com. I'm still deciding whether to keep it or not.
