Please share your Media/HT Room Color Palette

I am finishing my media room and is pretty much useless when it comes to selecting colors. I am aiming for a dark earthy low sheen color for the walls. The floor is dark oak and the media cabinet and stair railing etc are a medium/light oak. Wife was initially unhappy about the dark walls but I think I have convinced her about the technical reason behind it. What color combinations (trimming etc) will still keep the WAF high and the projected picture on the screen happy. Kindly share what has worked for you.
