I am new to HTPC's and want to start planning my setup for my house to say goodbye to cable. I have 3 displays and one will be hooked up directly to the HTPC. I want to be able to watch dvr recordings and pause/rewind live tv on all the other displays in my house. I'd also like access to Netflix/Hulu/Amazon Prime for streaming content. I have been tossing around the idea of using the Raspberry PI's running XBMC or Roku boxes with Plex. Is purchasing a 360 per room the only way to accomplish what I want until the Ceton Echo comes out? I am not sure I can do all that I want with one type of box on each tv.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
