Guys,
Can the gigabyte with Radeon 4670 video card output dtsMA and Dolby TrueHD sound? If yes, how? If no, what is a cheapest video card that can do that? Thanks.

That series card can't, any of the recent ATI (5 & 6 series) cards and some Nvidia (can't remember the relevant card numbers) are capable of bitstreaming HD Audio codecs. Cheapest ATI cards are likely to be 5450 and 6450.

Some HD5450 & HD6450 cards can be had for as low as $15 AR @ Newegg.

It really depends on the applications you use.

If you're just playing back HD content, I don't think you'll notice any difference.

Downgrade in general.
The series goes 2/3/4/5/6/7xxx.
The lowest end chipset is the x450, then the x550, x570, x650, x670 (yours), x750, x770 etc.

If you only watch movies, then a x750 is a waste of money and resources. Moreover it will run hotter and use more energy.
Get the 5450 or 6450.

Tomorrow you may want to try Avatar 2 and found that UVD2 is not enough for 1080p60. See for fanless 7750 (UVD3).

7750 is way overkill for any HTPC.
