That set-up uses the K2 ($22,000 each) for the front 3 speakers (LCR) - for a total of $66,000.
Now, JBL just released its new Synthesis 4700 speaker ($10,000 each) - for a total of $30,000 for the front three.

I know it is too early to see if someone has heard them, or compared them to the K2, but is there really THAT much of a difference - according to specs
The speaker system is ONLY going to be used for movies and NOT music.
