How can i mount these speakers (pics)

I have a Sony SAVS150H speaker system and just moved into a house where the previous owner had the basement wired for surround sound but never installed one. There are 4 speaker plates (2 front, 2 rear) with the speaker wire coming though. My question is how would I mount my speakers since there is just wall plates up? Also I cant replace the wall plate with just a mount as you can see with the pictures below. Can anyone help?

I was thinking this may solve my issues

If the threads match, this mount could be a good fit.

I don't what these speakers weigh and surprisingly Sony's web site didn't seem to know they exist.

I wouldn't put too much of a load (not more than a few pounds) on an existing wall plate depending on what it is and how its mounted. Its support could be pretty flimsy, or not. It might be a flimsly ring that barely supports the place, or it might be a plastic box just barely hanging in place or securely nailed, or it could be a steel box nailed to a stud with big nails. If its the latter, then you've got something that will go a long ways. If you have the ring, then it may need some reinforcement.

I'd definitely check it out before ordering parts. If it lacks, mounting objects on dry wall is a well-supported project, and your local home improvement store can help you with some inexpensive upgrades.

Speakers are somewhat light, they actually are part of a system (SAVS150H). Sony has no real info in the manual for mounting. I have always had speakers on stands so this is the first time I have ever wall mounted

Your answer is fine, was just looking for other suggestions, rather not spend $60 on 4 mounting plates.

As was previously suggested, you could remove the existing plastic plate and go to to a home supply store and possibly buy a mounting bracket that is usually used for lamps and fans. It just looks like a flat metal rectangle with a hole in the center for a screw in stud that should be used for the lamp or fan. You could use a small bolt (the same thread size as the back of your speaker) and nut mounted through the hole in the plate and then screw that into the back of your speaker.

Or, simply extend the wire a bit and buy some small wall mount speaker brackets and mount them next to the existing wall plate. Or, buy some small speaker stands such as the Atlantic brand sells and, again, splice a longer length of cable to the existing wire.

Even though you have small speakers, I'm not sure the wall box that was already installed for the speaker wires would be stable and strong enough to adequately hold your speakers securely enough.

I used something like these in one room. For small speakers they hold the speaker pretty close to the wall.

Here are some speaker brackets, but Home Depot and other stores sell similar units:
