Advice for a pistol grip camcorder purchase?

Hi

I have a budget of $250-350
and am looking for a camcorder that I can use for recording conference presentations that I attend. I previously had a Sanyo Xacti that I was very happy with, but they don't seem to have released any new models.

I would like to have:

• pistol grip (like the sanyo xacti) because it's not as obviously a camcorder as other form factors and makes people more comfortable being filmed
• a mic jack, so I can plug in an external mic.
• a wide angle lens
• the option of putting it on some kid of stand

Since it's to record presentations for my own personal viewing, I don't need super high quality, but good low light conditions would be useful.

Something sold by Amazon.com would be good. Any ideas?

It's sad that Panasonic bought them out only to discontinue the line. They were great (apart from the stabalizers)

I'm not sure what decision to take now, but I probably won't get any of those cameras. I'll hold off until I can find something that less resembles a traditional camcorder, but still has the features I mentioned.
