No topic here? I thought it was a good story telling flick...like an Apollo mission movie meets Alien. Though I imagine it could be picked apart mercilessly by the critical eye, I really enjoyed all the visual touches to give it such an authentic era amateur film and 70's video look.
Aside from that, it should make for a brilliant test case of then vs now handling of film grain (real or otherwise) vs bitrate vs encoding.
I would love to see some grainy screen caps to apply image analysis. This is just screaming for a revisiting comparison with 300! Yeah, it's a dead horse, but Apollo 18 is a like a brilliant bookend closure to 300 on this topic.
