I currently have a set of Monitor Audio Silver 5is for my mains. I was thinking about upgrading to somehthing with a fuller richer sound. I also want to keep my budget under $600 - $800 for the replacement set. I've seen a pair of polk rti8s for 300 and I'm wondering if it would be an improvement for what I'm wanting.
It would move me up to dual 6 1/2 drivers from the MAs smaller ones(5.5" CCAM). I'm also running an Energy XL-C2 center and was thinking about something larger like a csi5 or csia6. I know the mismatched front stage doesn't help and I want to fix that as well.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
