Samsung PN51D6500 vs. PN51E550

I am looking at either getting the PN51D6500 or the PN51E550. They looked like they had the same basic architecture, but the E550 is the newer model. I went to the AV store this afternoon, and one of the salesmen told me that the D6500 was hands down the better unit. They are about the same price, but I wasn't convinced he was correct.

Does anyone have any advise or experience with both sets?

Looking at both, but appears also that only the D6500 offers the wireless built in, along with the Smart TV widgets. Pretty much the rest is the same between the two, but where I am, the d6500 is $300 less than the e550, and has more features. So, I'll probably be picking up the D6500; Besides, it's Samsung, so you can be sure it'll be a great screen no matter what. For me, the streaming, wifi built in, plus it able to read MKV direct off a stick, is what did it for me to grab the D6500. Hope that helps.

Also, the D6500 does have 3D included in the set also, same as the 550.
