So that's the 2432 CD and the 2380 horn? Do you prefer bi-amp or passive? I think I'd prefer a single 2226 in each, dual is really large and overkill-city. I'd rather keep the extra drivers for another pair of speakers for my living room.

The 2432 look to be around $200 each, couldn't find any of the horns for sale.

the horn on the 4722 is not the 2380.

call them and ask. one source shows it as the 2384 horn part #126-00177-01 for $172, another source shows it as jbl part #365359-001 for $102.

jamm'n jersey is a pretty good source for the other components, such as the 2432H compression driver. they tend to cost a lot from jbl directly.

I've got a good number of JBL 2352 horns if that would help anyone get something up and running for pretty cheap. They're left over from the group buy last year. I also had to throw away some of the really big JBL horns because they were taking up a lot of room. I can't recall the model number, but they were about 36" wide! Not sure how many of those I have left though.

Is 90 degrees the best horizontal dispersion for good coverage across 2-3 seats?

The 2384 is 90 degrees by 20, whereas the other JBL 238x are 40 vertical. Less "junk" bounced off the ceiling, more sensitivity, more "beamy"?

I'll take at least one pair of the 2352s to hold me over until SEOS-24 mold is made and we can get that from Poland. I'll take two pairs if you have a couple nice ones and the combined shipping isn't too outrageous. Please let me know via my email to you. Thanks!

Resurrecting this thread to add information I've found researching these speakers. The waveguide used in Pi Speakers has been updated with the latest 'pure catenary' technology. Econowave (QSC), SEOS and Pi are compared here with measurements:
