I just purchased a Panasonic 42UT50 for my bedroom. I'm planning on buying a soundbar to go along with it, when I cough up enough money. Anyways, I have a question about hooking it up. My 42UT50 only has 2 HDMI ports. HDMI 1 is used for my Xbox 360, and HDMI 2 is used for my DirecTV HD-DVR. When I purchase my soundbar, will it have to be connected to one of the HDMI ports? Or can it be connected into something else? If it can be connected into something else, what are the disadvantages and advantages (if there are any) in doing so?
