Those of us that travel will find it much easier to use the 360 in a hotel. No more paying for access, struggling to get access through a laptop or phone. Only reason I can't wait!!
My new work laptop is now so locked down, i can't share a connection
I do not have a smart phone
Need a browser!!!

So, you're the one who needs this! Too bad it's IE. I suppose there was never any hope of them putting Chrome on the Xbox. biggrin.gif C'mon, how funny would that have been?

I can't imagine a universe where lugging around a 360 and using a browser via a controller is easier than a laptop for web pages.

It can't be. BUT, to access the hotel network for internet access, I will adapt.

Most hotels have a log in page where you have to type a pass code. NOT to be confused with any WEP or other security codes. It's off an actual web page.

When my coworker and I were working in Cleveland, he brought that kick butt blue ray device wit the cute tiny controller that also happens to play games.... Ummmm.Oh yeah, the PS3. It's adorable. biggrin.gif

Anyway, I brought my 360. The PS3's browser allowed him to log right in and access the wireless.

I had to call a special number, give them my MAC address and PAY 15 bucks for the week.

And it's been the same for wired acess as well.

Some hotels I am sure don't require it. The Holiday Inn's ,Hampton ,Hilton etc that I stay in all seem to now.

Also, I am not saying I would be using this to continuously browse. But I know there are people who will use this. Get that keyboard thing and am sure it would be easier than not having it.

Free??? Good luck. The only thing you could do is sign up for BIng Rewards and do web searches everyday. 100 microsoft points is 100 points which should take about 5 days with their current promo.

Sorry about Mark's response. The proper website is rewards.xbox.com. I've gotten about 900 points since last August.

Technically both NoThru22 and markc72 are correct. You can get points through rewards.xbox.com and through Bing Rewards. Xbox Rewards will give you point for filling out surveys, buying content, or sometimes just by using specific services during a certain time. Bing Rewards works just as mark described. You sign up through either Facebook or your Microsoft (Live) Account you can get points through searches.
