Hi...

I just just wanted to send out a quick note within the last 5 minutes of of the AVSForum site as we know it today, Tuesday June 5th, 2012.

Thank you all for your years of support and dedication to this site as we transition into the next phase of our existence.

Most of all, thank you for being a part of this community that not only helps one another, but also pushes the industry to be better.

We We Grow Again!

The one thing I find much improved is navigating between forums. Having to load that giant list of forums on the old site was tedious. Much nicer with the dropdown dialogue on the new site!

Yes, it does look clean and well organized. It's definitely going to take me some time to find my way around on the site again.

To me it seems that the AVSForum app does not work anymore (with the new interface?)
It says:
The remote server sent an unknown response. This could be a result of the forum software plugin being outdated or having a conflict.

Hi,

Yes, as was announced earlier, you can delete the old app and the Tapatalk app will begin working very soon. We'll also be launching a new mobile browser in the near future.

Yuk, don't like it at all! Sorry! Maybe newbies will be OK with it but us old-timers knew exactly where to click and find info and move through the site quickly.
Also, there seems to be no value now to having paid for a subscription to get rid of the ads at the right of the screen.

^ May I recommend Firefox with AdBlock Plus.
It makes the whole internets a really nice place smile.gif
