It's the war between bottom posting and top posting, a different type of skirmish.
I top post almost always in my e-mail lists and usenet. And get flamed often.
This forum and another one like it I do bottom, middle and top posting, whatever seems best.
I have no problem with the format of the "immediate" e-mail's with the boxes at the bottom mainly because that is where my eyes end up
after reading what was posted. (I need a reason to go to AVS right then, mainly because I wish to reply to a post.)
Wanting to go to the first page also for me is unusual but it does happen, some thread starters update the first post often.
Click on the "AVS" logo at the top and you go to an AVS first page that I will be rarely visiting, that is unless I get total control of it's format. That will never happen as companies are paying money to get their equipment shown there. I have no need to look for new equipment as what ATSC tuners I can buy is controlled by my great scheduling program.

It may be that due to your post they changed it, I had not tried it before.
We are on the steep learning curve so be patient as you learn how to use the new AVS.
And watch for changes as even the "Administrator" is reading "Absolutely Awful".
