I don't see the green arrow when I browse my subscriptions. How do I go to new posts in subscriptions?

I think you click on the thread title where a subscribed thread has a red number box on it to show you have unread posts. That works for me.

Yes, there is an icon on the left with a red background that lists the number of unread posts in that thread.
