Fixed the "Google" problem, unfortunately, now there seems to be a "Facebook" problem!
It looks like this and in some cases I have to back click several times when trying to get out of AVS.
Does anyone know how to get rid of this? Also, for some reason, it's also messing up the "forward" button...another words, there does not seem to be a "history" in the forward button when I know very well when going "backwards" there should be pages of where I've clicked from. I have a feeling once the "Facebook" issue is solved, it will hopefully get rid of the "forward" button function.
You have to also add step number 5 to the tracking protection list as this will kill the facebook links. I think it is called unconnect. I am also using easy list and privacy choice. You can use more than one list at a time. You can really speed up your browsing this way. Its like surfing the web in the old days before all this ad tracking got started.
If your IE9 browser is really messed up you can reset it back to its factory defaults. Click tools, internet options, advanced tab, reset at bottom of page, check the delete personal settings box, then click the reset button. You will not lose your favorites but you will have to redo all your settings for the browser including the tracking protection.
If you come across websites that do not display properly you can temporarily disable trackoing protection by clicking on the blue circle at the end of your address bar. Remember to turn it back on after you leave the site.
