Subwoofer - Coax/RCA connection

My house is prewired for 7.1 channel sound system. They have provided coax for the subwoofer. My receiver has line level (RCA) inputs for subwoofer. I need advice on two connections, 1) from wall coax to receiver line level (RCA) and 2) on other wall, coax to subwoofer line level (RCA). Following are the links for my receiver and subwoofer.

Your receiver has a RCA output for the sub. Use that subwoofer pre out in solid white. Buy two RCA cables from monoprice.com Plug one into your receivers lfe out and to the wall plate then plug the second from the other wall plate To either the left or right Line Ine connection on your sub.

Will the RCA cable male end plug into coax female adaptor?

Go to Radio Shack and get a 'F' to RCA connector. It will basically screw on to the coax end, as if you were connecting the coax to a tv.

Receiver's Subwoofer Out (RCA Female) > RCA Male-Male Cable > RCA Female to F-type Male Adapter > F-type Female Port on Wallplate.

Subwoofer LFE In (RCA Female) > RCA Male-Male Cable > RCA Female to F-type Male Adapter > F-type Female Port on Wallplate.
