I was recently recording a video on my camcorder, samsung SC-HMX 10C, when the battery died in the middle of the video. On the camcorder it just shows a questionmark where the video is and while I can download the video to the computer and hit has a large file size it's unplayable by any media player including VLC. I tried to use File Repair to fix the file but it says there's no data to fix. I've also tried Neuview media player.
The file has a footprint, there's obviously data there but it's unfinished. Is there a way to fix the file to get it readable by VLC or media player classic or so I can add it into Sony Vegas?
It's an important video so I'm hoping someone has some ideas, thank-you
