I used ticman's settings from earlier in this thread, they were for movie mode...so I just used the same settings for standard thinking I may like it better sense I do have some clouding in the corners during very dark scenes sense this mode allows for micro dimming. I like the results, I've been watching everythin in movie mode, but now I think I will only watch TV in movie mode and watch blu rays in standard.
NOTE: I have tweaked ticmans settings, if and when I'm happy I will post mine. I'm still learning and still have questions as I've had the TV less then a week.
What's the story on natural and dynamic modes? Anyone have any input or thoughts about those modes.
Also, what is this massaging I keep seeing being mentioned?
Do the corner clouds get better when you hang the set?
Also, I've noticed everyone seems to peg out Contrast, but it seems to "blow" out the picture making the picture seem to have a white sheet over it, like your looking through a slightly frosted piece of glass. I don't get it. It also seems to me a lot of settings I see have the BL at 9 or above. I'm liking 9 or lower depending on daytime or nightime
Any comments or suggestions thoughts, I'm holding back on just asking a ton of questions. Not that you can tell haha
And one more note. The Action scenes from the Avengers looks amazing on my set
